Fangs God It’s Friday: Spike

For this week’s “Fangs God It’s Friday,” I decided to go more modern with my vampire selection: Spike from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Let’s face it. James Marsters’ blood sucker rocked. It’s tough not to like a guy responsible for inspiring Billy Idol’s look (at least, that’s what Spike claims). I think by the time the series ended, most fans wanted Buffy with Spike much more than Angel.

Don’t forget, you can see me at RavenCon this whole weekend. My first panel will be at five o’clock tonight. You can find my entire schedule here.

The deadliest vampire is the one that got away. The only monster Gidion Keep never expected to face has returned for Gidion's Blood. Rejoin the hunt August 11th!

Initially, I thought Joss Whedon had lost his mind when they added Spike to the cast, but I was totally wrong. Turned out to be a great move. Gave him an interesting character arc.

Spike was one of the best characters on that show. What a great idea for a Friday blog post series – love the title!
