Two Months Until Gidion’s Blood

Title Page to Bill Blume's new websiteAs of today, we’re exactly two months away from the release of Gidion’s Blood and my short story collection, The Deadlands: And Other Stories. To mark this occassion, I’m rolling out a new look for my website.

While I was fond of my website’s old look, the redesign was overdue. With the second book in the Gidion Keep, Vampire Hunter series on the way, the series deserves more of a presence. With that in mind, I’ve incorporated the silhouette style from my book trailers into the overall look of the website.

You can expect me to make small adjustments to the website between now and the release of the books. Most noteworthy will be getting to include the actual cover art for the books. Even I don’t know what the covers will end up looking like, and soon after I know, you’ll get to know, too.

While we’re also talking about the book release being two months away, it’s worth sharing that Gidion’s Blood (and the re-release for Gidion’s Hunt) and The Deadlands: AOT will get a release party here in Richmond. Fountain Bookstore and its owner Kelly Justice really went to bat for my first book, so I’m thrilled to see Gidion’s second book being released there, too. If you’re in Richmond, don’t miss it!

The deadliest vampire is the one that got away. The one monster Gidion Keep never expected to face has returned for GIDION'S BLOOD. Rejoin the hunt August 11th!Book Release Party:

I honestly feel like things had been dragging for so long, and now I’m sprinting to get it all done. My editor said it best, “I’m convinced there’s a separate set of space-time continuum rules for publishing.”
