Fangs God It’s Friday: Nikki Steel

My final Fangs God It’s Friday for this month features a cosplayer I didn’t expect to include when I planned to spend October celebrating cosplayers and models who’ve dressed as vampire hunters and/or vampires.

Nikki Steel is probably best known for her amazing cosplay as a Terminator which looks incredible thanks in no small part to her past experience as a makeup artist. I originally attempted to contact Nikki this past summer about a goofy meme I do on Tumblr and Instagram that involves Star Wars cosplayers (she does a wicked and bad ass Sith Leia), but she didn’t see my message until many weeks later in early September. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

A conversation started via social media, and before we said our farewells, I decided to ask if she’d ever done any shoots as a vampire. At the time, I needed just one more cosplayer to complete my lineup for this month. My timing, as it happens, couldn’t have been better. She hadn’t done any shoots dressed as a vampire, but she was just days away from doing one.

The pictures were all taken by CrAyZ Photography. These are just a few of the images Nikki has shared thus far. I can’t wait until she posts the rest.

IF you happen to be one of the lucky devils hanging out at Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo in Los Angeles, you’ll have a chance to see Nikki there.

It’s been a lot of fun doing something different for this month’s editions of Fangs God It’s Friday, and I’m sure it’s something I want to do again next year. Should be fun to see who I’ll feature when October 2016 rolls around. For now, I hope you have a happy Halloween tomorrow!
